Prime Properties is a real estate agency based in Surat, Gujarat, India, operating as Prime Properties & Interiors. We are responsible for the information described in this policy.

From people who contact us. Your name, phone number, email address, and what you tell us you are looking for — budget, area, size of property, and similar preferences. You give us this when you enquire through our website, over the phone, or on WhatsApp.

Property listings. Details of properties offered for sale or rent, including price, size, location, building, and the contact details of the estate agent marketing them. Much of this reaches us as messages that agents broadcast publicly to WhatsApp groups.

WhatsApp messages. Where a phone number belonging to us, or to a business that subscribes to our software, is a member of a WhatsApp group or receives a direct message, we process the content of property-related messages in order to organise them into structured listings. This includes the message text and the name or number the sender is shown under.

Photographs. Images of properties, whether taken by an estate agent or shared with one.

Usage information. Standard technical records such as pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP address, used to keep the service working and secure.

To match people with properties, to respond to enquiries, to keep our records of the market accurate, to prevent the same property being recorded many times over, and to let estate agents who each hold part of the picture on a property work together on it.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Property information is shared. Details of properties — price, size, building, and the agent marketing them — are visible to the estate agencies that subscribe to our software. This is deliberate: the same property is typically broadcast to many agents at once, and pooling it is how we avoid recording it a dozen times.

Your personal information is not. If you are a buyer or a tenant, your name, contact details and requirements are private to the agency you approached. They are not shared with other subscribing agencies.

Photographs stay with the agent who has them. They are private unless that agent chooses to publish them or to share them with a named colleague.

Service providers. We use third parties to host and operate the service, including Meta Platforms for WhatsApp messaging. They process information on our instructions.

When the law requires it. We will disclose information where we are legally obliged to.

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform to send and receive messages. Messages exchanged with us are handled in accordance with WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy in addition to this one. If you message us, we take that as your agreement to be replied to on WhatsApp; you can ask us to stop at any time and we will.

Where our software processes messages from a group, it does so because a member of that group has installed it on their own phone for that purpose. We use those messages only to identify and organise property listings.

Enquiries and the records attached to them are kept for as long as we are working with you and afterwards for as long as we need them for our legitimate business and legal purposes. Property listings are kept as a record of the market. You can ask us to delete information about you and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Access is restricted to the staff and subscribing agencies who need it. Information is separated so that one agency’s private records cannot be read by another. Credentials and access tokens are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you if something happens that affects you.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Where a change is significant we will say so plainly rather than relying on you to notice.
